So, after a few posts from here in South Dakota I have been getting emails asking me what I was using to shoot with while we’re out here. So here you go.

This is my 600f4 on a Wimberly II head attached to a Gitzo 5540 6x tripod. This is one great setup and very versatile for different situations. Usually this is my birding setup, but this time we’re using it on the big guys, and having a great time.

Well,

I’m down here in Florida with Moose for Base Camp and we went out to find some birds, AND BOY DID WE!!  This shot of a Great Egret was taken out at Fort DeSoto this morning and this is just one of many.  It is amazing, Brown Pelicans fly right past your head, Laughing Gulls are laughing, and the amount of wildlife is just great.  We got to meet the sudents tonight and I know it is going ot be a great week.  Stay tuned..
