In the Groove at the grove
Well this morning we went out to Reed Grove to see if the sun would come out and play through the trees, and it did, and it was great. we had a full morning of shooting and now we’re headed to the last hours of class time before we head out for the final night shoot.

Crazy Shooting
Well we have been non-stop shooting it seems like since we got here, but boy has it been great. This are from last night and it was great to be out on the beach.

I found Joe down on the beach given a flash demo control 11 Nikon SB-800s at once to shed light on the class.

This is the Battery Point Light House out on the coast.

Prairie Creek
What a great morning, we headed out to Prairie Creek photograph some great giant redwood trees. That storm that was blowing in last night is here now and it is making for a great mood light.

Nothing beats a good Stout
Well, it was a great afternoon for the DLWS staff. We headed out to Stout Grotto a very cool place off the beaten path. This place has so much to offer it was great.

This shot was near the back of the grotto as the sun shined through the canopy onto this tree trunk.

This shot was inspired by my good friend Brad Moore, who loves to do long exposure zoom to get this effect. This shot is pointing straight up into the canopy.
