So we took the DLWS class out to the windows this morning out in Arches National Park. It was a great time and the light was great. The image above was of Turret Arch just East of the North window. I finished the image in Color Efex 3.0. I used a multiple filter method that I have been working on that I will include in the book, so if you like how this looks, you’ll so be able to do it yourself.
Tonight we’re headed back out to Cisco for another around with the ghost town. There were so many things there last time I know I missed something, but tonight I will ind them.

Seeing Red

So this morning the DLWS staff rolled up to the North Window in Arches National Park. It was a really cool place. The shot above was taken of the North Window by reflecting off of Kevin’s 14-24f2.8. I figured if one window was amazing why not try to get 3 more.

I was able to get this shot off right before we went and had Ginger Pancakes for breakfast. The light and the shadows played off of each other to make a really nice S-curve. I finished this image in Color Efex 3.0, if you want to know how I guess you should come to a DLWS event.
