So the 2011 Texas Landscape Safari Workshop is in the bag and what a great time it was.  I know with the last posting I talked about the book I was hopefully going to have set for proof printing on Monday, but in the mean time I wanted to give everyone a quick taste of what lies within the upcoming pages…  You will have to forgive me as this is my first time using Vimeo so if you have problems viewing drop me an email and let me know.. enjoy the show…

I tell you what a great time it was this past week going to all these places and meeting new folks and helping them find their vision in photography…

Yep, you guessed it.  It is a BIG rock in the middle of Texas.  This place was a great stop on the TLS a lot of different scenes all in one place.  The rock formations themselves are wild.  Layer upon layer of rock just bulged up out of the ground and has slowly been eroding back down to earth over the past couple 100K years or so.  To me it looked like I was standing on a pair of Volcanic Cores, but I was schooled in the ways of Texas geography and am better for it now (Thanks Jeff!!)
