Ok, so we weren’t exactly at Redlands High, it was an abandoned train station  (but it is asnazzy titile).  Up above are my great friends Jeff and Misty.  They decided to get hitched, so the aked me to shoot the engagement photos and eventually the wedding.  So last night we only got to shoot for about a minute before a security guard came down on us telling us that we would have to go.  Luckily with my winning smile I scored use about ten minutes (that and the fact that I brought up the point that there were no, No Tresspassing signs, and it was public property).

So it was a quick shoot, but we walked away with some good shots.

Captured with 1D MarkIIN 16-35f2.8II onlexar digital film – Finished in Nik Silver Efex Pro

BTW I got a new lens that I shot with last night the Canon 16-35f2.8II and it is REALLY nice!!!!

Josh – I’ve shot at that train station a few times as well and never had an issue with security. You’re right, no signs and people are wandering through there all the time going to the theater and downtown.

Do you shoot anywhere else around there? I’m down in Beaumont and “edgy” shoot locations are scarce… thx [m]

Right across the street to the East the is a parking lot that has a bunch of great stuff. Old doors, Barred windows, Metal plated windows, lots of brick work.. there is some cool stuff. I only got to scout on Friday night after I shot the photo in this post. I can’t remember the name of the Bar where you turn in at. It started with Joe’s… but walking around behind there was a gold mine. That place offered 5 shooting locations all with in that parking lot. As well as the wall by the railroad tracks on that side of the street (lots of charter)

Once I am done sorting and finishing images from the shoot I will post some more with the locations.

    Hope this helps

    Sounds great – Thanks!

I hear there’s a huge RED wall down by the alley we usually shoot in but I can’t seem to locate. We usually park in the structure and walk around.
